I would like to know how to locate the total number of emails currently in my windows live email account, and that is windows essentials 2012 not 2011.

I know each folder has a total in the status bar, but I don't understand how I'm presumed to want only individual folder totals and not also the total of all individual folders.

I'm glad there is a total for each folder;  just can't see the missing total as very much of an extra effort or how to have one without the other. It just seems it would be basic.

If there is a place to find this total, I wonder why I can't find it; and this would then become my only gripe.
