Original title: Where to start?

I am completely new to video editing. 

My goal is to be able to take a video , trim it to what I want , add several of these edited videos together and create one final video.

Is this possible with Movie Maker?

If it is possible , can you point me in the direction of a Youtube video that will explain it for an absolute beginner that does not know ANY of the technical terms in the video editing field?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
