Hi!   I have downloaded lots of pictures from online.   And I have made lots of labeled folders in Microsoft Photo Gallery, to help make it easier to find exactly the photo I want, each time I need one.   It worked fine for a while.   But now, I'm having trouble with sub-folders developing when I click on "new folder" to make a new labeled folder.   I finally managed to get a new folder to be able to get set up in the alphabetic order scheme, by shading the sequence immediately before the one I was putting in.  And then clicking on "paste" to put in the new folder.    But then it turned into a sub-folder.   That is not what I want!   What can I do to see to it that every time I make a new folder, it makes a full folder (not a sub-folder)?

I just now figured out how to fix the problem in proper folders by sorting on my desktop.    So I'm glad about that.    Then I can delete the wrong ones in Photo Gallery, and copy the edited ones back into it.

However, at least for your knowledge - telling you about this may help motivate and enable you to figure out how to make it easier to make folders and to edit them in the Photo Gallery program.

Thanks.

Debby
