I've been using Windows Live mail for years but with third-party email accounts, a university address and a Time Warner one. In migrating to a new PC I inadvertently imported the same directory of contacts twice, resulting in about 900 duplicate contacts in WLM, maybe more. I tried to use the Clean Up contacts button in Contacts, but it only seems to work if your contacts reside in an Outlook (or Microsoft?) account, not third-party ones. I can sign in to WLM with my WLM credentials: this enables the Clean Up Contacts button, but it leads to a page not found site that just tells me

We can't find that page
The page no longer exists, is private, or might have been moved. Make sure the web address is correct, sign in with your Microsoft account, or try using a different link.

Is there no way to efficiently clean up my contacts in WLM? I have a Microsoft account now with a different sign in than my Windows Live Mail, but that doesn't seem to help. Tech support there suggested posting the issue here.

Thank you, fellow users.
