Hi all,

I have recently created a Microsoft Account and it works well with my WP8 to sync calendars and people.

I have created an outlook.com alias and chose to have it deposit to my inbox instead of a folder.  The screen indicated that an email would be sent confirming setup of the alias.  It has been well over 12 hours now and this alias shows up in my accounts settings, but any attempts to email it result in failure:

Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently:

     *** Email address is removed for privacy ***

Technical details of permanent failure:
Google tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the server for the recipient domain outlook.com by mx2.hotmail.com. [65.54.188.72].

The error that the other server returned was:
550 Requested action not taken: mailbox unavailable

I have noted other users posting with similar issues and would like to get this alias going.

Any help is appreciated.
