how do you find a way to have only one email address in hotmail address book as the preferred email (three choices – personal, other and work)

in hotmail people where you add email addresses- there are three choices 
other personal and work
i have email addresses in all three categories but cannot figure out how to set the system to chose only ONE of these three as the preferred one i want all emails to go as the default.

any help please
