I was caught off guard with this new Windows Live Photo Gallery. On my pc, I just wanted to edit a photo on my phone, but I forgot that my photo must be on my pc in order to edit it. Upon opening Photo Gallery, it started importing all photos from my phone. I thought now is a good time to get them off my phone. I let it run and it proceeded to erase all original photos so I have none of them in my Windows Explorer. In the middle, I was going to cancel the erase (I was not aware they were going two places - online and to Windows Explorer. I thought my photos were only erasing from my phone). Now Photo Gallery will not open due to offline files. How do remove them if they are not in Windows Explorer or on my phone? Where are they?
