How do I keep Windows Live Mail on working online?

Thanks again for all help. Switching "on line" as advised seems to work. Is there a "Box" I can tick to keep switched on automatically when launching?

Secondly, how do I find my Activation Code, I was asked to show it when switching on today...............?
