First, I changed my old PC in Windows 7 for a new one in Windows 10. In Windows 7 I used Windows Live app for emails (my account is Non-outlook and I don't want to use outlook). I exported and saved my emails (archives most importantly) in USB storage before my old computer died. The files I want are in storage not saved online unless Windows Live saves it automatically somewhere somehow.

Now, I am opening Windows Mail app and there is no import function. How do I import my archives in? Did Microsoft completely discarded import email function so as to completely mess up people like me who have archives of emails not stored online nor use outlook email account?

Couple of things: 1) I can't sync to my stored archives because they were not online anymore so no webmail.

2) I have no outlook account and I don't plan signing up and paying for Office 365 just to get outlook app working.

3) I can't find download for Windows Live 2012 and I am not sure how to get Mail app to import emails from Windows Live.

How can I get my saved archived emails back into emails.
