Since buying a new PC with Windows 8 my Hotmail account has been taken over by Outlook but all my Hotmail.com e-mails have disappeared.  I can change the account to Hotmail.co.uk but that is not correct.

Yesterday when I did something and there were all my e-mails.  However, when I logged on today I have the same problem.  How do I get back my hotmail.com e-mails?

All my contacts have a Hotmail.com e-mail for me not co.uk. 

This is rather urgent now since I have already missed some important communication.
