I had a problem with my laptop and, as a result, the operating system was updated. I use Windows Live Mail 2012 but ,when I go into the system, I can send and receive new emails ok but none of my old emails are there. My documents, photos, music etc are there and these were backed up and restored. However, I am not sure if old emails were backed up. I have tried a search but cannot find them

How can I retrieve these emails please?
