Hi - I wonder if anyone can help me. Due to a problem I was having with Windows 7 I decided to restore to factory settings. Before doing this I backed up to an external hard drive. I have now restored but there are a number of folders/ files which have not restored. At the end of the restore I get a link to a notepad file which includes details of all files which have not restored and it suggests restoring to another location rather than the original location. I am stumped and frustrated as I can see all my e-mail storage files and other files listed here but cannot figure out how to get them back. I use windows live mail with a pop3 account. An example of one of the folders which failed to restore is:

Restore skipped restoring the file: C:\Users\Dawnie\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Live Mail\Storage Folders\Books to original location.

Does anyone have any ideas how I can get all my stored e-mails back - will be devastated if I have lost them all.
