Until I reinstalled Windows 8, I used to be able to hit the send and receive mail button, and the program would send and receive.

Now, it sends ok, but now 'syncs' with gmail to receive.   It creates a bunch of 'categories' on gmail, and, if I delete them off of gmail, it also deletes them off Outlook.

How do I get it back to normal?
