I received an e-mail with 30 captioned pictures. The e-mail asked me to either "download all as a zip file" or run pictures in a 'slideshow' format. After viewing in 'slideshow' format I attempted to forward the pictures and received the message," Cannot transmit more than 50 files; remove some files and retry."

My first concern was that there were only 30 pictures in the original e-mail, how does the '50 file size' limit get incurred?

My second concern is that if I can receive e-mail messages with large numbers of files, why should my transmit capability be limited?
