My mother is 90 years old. Her hand does not move the mouse smoothly like it did 10 years ago. Nor is her memory what it once was. She used to use Outlook Express which had a nicely sized print button that was visible when reading email.
In Windows Live Mail I can add a Print button to her Quick Access Toolbar but the button is so small she has a greater than 50% chance of clicking something else and making something unexpected happen.
Secondly, the tab to the left of the home tab displays a menu with a decent sized print button on it. There are two problems for a 90 year old with this method: The tab is not tall and consequently hard to click on; the print button is not visible on the main page and so she is challenged to remember that this method exists.
Thirdly, one can right click a message and see a Print option. This has the same problem of not being remembered.
Why is there no Print button on the ribbon? (There are many, many less frequently used options on it.)
Why can the Quick Access Toolbar not be made large enough for a 90 year old?
How can a 90 year old effectively print Windows Live Mail emails?
