On July 24th, 2013 I interacted with an e-mailed link from a friend. Unknown to me at the time this seem to have triggered off mass mailing of spam messages.

On July 25th my wife got an email from me (spam) which she interacted with and she suddenly notice the sent folder filling up really fast.. I changed her password immediately and her account seem to be okay and she warned all of her recipients.

I was not so lucky with  my account.  I cannot access my account. When I first tried to login I received a message that someone else may have had access to my account and I got the impression it was shut down by Microsoft.

I have made several attempts to recover it but have not had any response sent to my alternate email address.

My email account is a paid one and I have had it so long I do not remember the phone number associated with it or the security question.
