I have a 10 year old Hotmail account *** Email address is removed for privacy *** which got hacked back in mid 2008. The hacker changed my password, and when I wanted to reset it by answering the secret question, I noticed that they even changed the secret question from 'The name of your first pet' into a turkish phrase which I translated into "Your mother's maiden name". The recovery procedure requested me to produce the contents of the latest email, but it failed too.

Recently I went to https://account.live.com/password/reset to reset the password for that email account, but this is the answer I received:

"The Microsoft account is incorrect. Please try again."

I had my Paypal details and resume related emails back on that account, who knows what shenanigans those hackers can do with my information.
