Hi since the move to outlook - I cannot view historic emails by clicking on an old date. for example if I want to see emails from Jan 1st 2012 I cannnot click that date - no emails come up. However if I know there was an email sent by a person on that date I can find that email by searching under the name so I know the email is still there on the server.
