I have looked through the various forums posts and it appears that when the upgrade to outlook was made some emails may have been deleted by Microsoft. I have not used outlook desktop for years to access hotmail so setting there can not be an issue, I have not been hacked, I use my account everyday, I login through my browser regularly, so I think this is a Microsoft issue? I have tried the recover undeleted email option. but that only gets the last 5 days worth. My last hotmail backup to outlook desktop was 2008 :-(

Can someone help? This is really annoying.
