I received an email claiming to be from my wife's hotmail address.  It included a link that looks spammy.  She didn't send it and it's not in her sent items.  She immediately changed the password on her account.

In the email header the Received information is as follows:

Received: from smtprelay.b.hostedemail.com (smtprelay0216.b.hostedemail.com. [64.98.42.216])
        by mx.google.com with ESMTP id sd2si621482pbb.169.2013.10.29.14.03.23
        for <*** Email address is removed for privacy ***>;

Received-SPF: softfail (google.com: domain of transitioning *** Email address is removed for privacy *** does not designate 64.98.42.216 as permitted sender) client-ip=64.98.42.216;

       spf=softfail (google.com: domain of transitioning *** Email address is removed for privacy *** does not designate 64.98.42.216 as permitted sender) smtp.mail=*** Email address is removed for privacy ***

Is my wife's email address being spoofed to send malicious emails and if so is there anything that I can do about it?
