I have been a Yahoo Plus customer for years and I am not happy with their recent upgrade and have been trying to switch to Outlook.com for days upon days now and gone back and forth with Yahoo about this.

I finally came to these forums and see that this has been an issue for well over a year now but it seems that most of the replies are "Private" messages and that there isn't a solution posted. I've tried adding "plus" to the POP server name to no avail. I've created a different outlook.com account that had a different username than my Yahoo account, that didn't work. The only solution I saw was a long work around that involved changing my Yahoo password to a less secure password (alphanumeric only) or creating a Gmail account to proxy my emails through which seems stupid to me to have to do.

Any real solutions on Microsoft's end or should I just switch to Gmail and drop both Yahoo and Outlook?
