Hey everyone hope you can help. I have been going round in circles trying to permanently delete my old spam central Hotmail address. I did email Microsoft about it and got a response but in firefox the link is blank and in IE it says my email address (one I don't use with anything Hotmail related) isn't allowed to view this incident so I'm trying again. I'll explain what happens below.

• I sign in to my Hotmail account.
• Click on 'close account' in the left hand side bar.
• I get brought to a page telling me about what to do before closing and what will happen and asked to enter my password to verify my account.
  
• I verify my account and get brought to another page saying 'You need to deactivate your Hotmail account. Once you've done that, your Microsoft account will be closed automatically after a period of inactivity.
• I click on 'deactivate your Hotmail account and get transferred to another page and chose my reason why and click on 'deactivate account'
• I then get bought back to the start screen where I have to sign in and go through the entire process again. 

I've gone through this about 10 times now and it's incredibly frustrating. No idea where I'm going wrong, not sure if it's been confirmed as I always get returned to to the sign in page.
