i then created an alias with *** Email address is removed for privacy *** and chose the option for emails to come into this folder. This worked well, the @live.com mails came into the inbox and the alias @live.in ones came into the folder. 

i then made the @live.in the primary alias and deleted the original @live.com id. 

my emails now come into the @live.in folder, but i need them to come into the Inbox....
