I'm in the US and I have been corresponding with a friend in Spain for about a year.  He has a hotmail account and mine is an MSN account.  On Friday, August 30 he attempted to send me a text only email and it bounced back with this message:

Reporting-MTA: dns;blu0-omc1-s10.blu0.hotmail.com
Received-From-MTA; dns;BLU0-SMTP212
Arrival-Date: Fri, 30 Aug 2013 01:57:17 -0700

Final-Recipient: rfc822;*** Email address is removed for privacy ***
Action: failed
Status: 5.3.5
Diagnostic-Code: smtp;530 5.3.5 This message was not sent because it contained suspicious content.
(1151189794:1221: -2147467259)

If this was for whatever reason marked as junk, why did it not end up in my junk folder?

Thanks in advance,
