Hadn't used Writer for a few months and having decided to reactivate my blog I updated my Writer installation.  Now I am unable to flow text around my pictures.  I set the image in place and the cursor pops up at the lower left corner of the image where it prints one line of type then drops down and to the left side of the page to begin a new line.

Before, I could simply select the text wrapping option I wanted from the menu or even move the image into an already typed block of text.  Now I just have an image with a large blank space on whatever side (depending on the desired format) and the menu does nothing.  Any idea what I'm doing or not doing that would cause this?
