This is a response to the support techs that locked the thread "First account is asking for an adult login. Cannot add the first account as a child".

When I followed the links you gave me, I get a page that asks me to log in.  I am already logged in so when I hit the login link, nothing happens.  This is the link you sent me:

Seems like this should work.  I took apart the URL and when I try to go to
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-live/get-support

I get an incorrect URL message.

How about giving me directions of where to nav to.  Start with a base URL, then tell me what links to press.  See what I mean?  It looks entirely different "out here" for us users.  Please don't lock the thread until I can successfully transition to the place you are trying to send me to.

Incidentially, IE10 is replacing anything I paste into the URL field with a "suggestion".  More "helpful" software...
