I'm continually getting the subject email alert from "Microsoft Account Team Services <*** Email address is removed for privacy *** asking me for: User Name, Password, Date of Birth, and Country or Territory in order ot verify and let them know if my accont is still valid.  He says that if I do no respond to the message, I will lose my account permanently.  Is this legitimate?

Seems fishy.
