Windows 8.1 Explorer allows me to save files that contain characters like ! & # and so on.  I think SkyDrive Pro does not support a lot of characters that I use, because when I try to sync folders, uploads bomb and my computer slows to a crawl.  When I check the Upload Center, the errors say "illegal letters."

1. Is it true that I need to be sure that files I create locally on my computer conform to the SkyDrive Pro naming conventions or the upload will bomb?
2. Where do I look to find the SkyDrive Pro naming convention rules?
3. Is there a batch processing way to rename my local computer file names so they can upload and sync with SkyDrive Pro?
