I have 2 laptops I'm trying to protect using Windows Live Family Safety. My newer WIN8.1 laptop is working just fine and reporting the necessary information that I'm seeking.  My other laptop is running WIN7 and stopped reporting activity some time ago.  When I try to log in to the problematic laptop and change the settings for Live Family Safety it continually tells me my email/password are incorrect.  It started giving me an error code of 80048849 which didn't turn up too much information for me when I tried searching for possible fixes.  I ultimately uninstalled Windows Essentials 2012, rebooted, and reinstalled Windows Essentials 2012, only this time I only installed Family Safety purposely not installing any of the other package items and I am now just getting a message that my email/password are incorrect when trying to sign into to family safety.  When I log in using the web interface on my phone, on the browser on the problematic laptop, or on my good laptop I'm able to log in with no problems.  I'm able to log in to the family safety on the Win 8 laptop with no problems.  it's just on the Win7 laptop I'm having an issue with.  I'm using Windows Live Essentials 2012.  It'd be really nice to get this solved so I can go back to letting my children safely use their laptop.
