My Windows 7 will not download and install updates.  It goes through the process of downloading them and then the message - Failure Configuring Windows Updates Reverting Changes - but never installs the updates .  I haven't had any updates for 2 years now because of this problem.

My laptop is a HP Pavilion g series.
