How did this come to pass? Facebook updates their APIs and Microsoft posts an advisory that they are all broken:

Seems Microsoft has done a lot of work with Windows 10, but for home users you've let the biggest social app on the planet walk away from the platform. As a shareholder and former employee, I remember the years Microsoft ran like hell to maintain compatibility (WordPerfect 1,2,3,4,5,6, Lotus 123). Where has the zeal gone? How is this not relevant to keeping consumers?
