Hey guys, i currently have my hotmail account synced alright between 2 computers and 1 laptop. However i also use this client for my optusnet email which kind of leads to a few problems.

I want to get the optus net emails exactly the same as its currently on my laptop. It has about 2000 emails with 61 not read. When i put the account on one of my computers, it downloads all my messages but it doesnt update the ones that have been read, therefore i end up with 2000 emails being not read when i only want the 61 not read (which are usually marked as important) 

How can i solve this issue?

I also want to know if theres a way to make the client not the default mail program without uninstalling it in case i need to use something else.
