OT: Movie Maker always crashing.

Every time I try to edit my film in movie makes it crashes, within say 10 seconds of me doing anything (even scrolling down the page) a message comes up saying that 'movie maker has stopped working' and it then closes. I don't know what to do as I've spent so long making videos I can't re-do them and it happens when I try to edit any of the videos I've put together.
