Hello.

I use Windows Mail (not Windows Live Mail) I have 3 accounts on it. 

Everything worked fine and has done for years, until today. I now cannot receive mail on one of the accounts although I can still send mail. 

The other 2 accounts work perfectly well on both send & receive.

The problem account is a hotmail address. When it gets to the authorizing part of the process a box pops up asking for username & password. This does not accept the details I type in even though it's correct. So I click cancel, it checks the other accounts & then this is the error message I get:

 Account: 'pop3.live.com (1)', Server: 'pop3.live.com', Protocol: POP3, Server Response: '-ERR authentication failed', Port: 995, Secure(SSL): Yes, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC92

I've checked the account receives mail in a browser and on my iphone & it does

I've deleted the account & added it again

I've changed the password

I've checked all pop3 settings & authentication settings

I'm at wits end here folks!! Please help.
