I am using Windows Live mail in Windows 10 and have recently been getting an error message about calendar updates failing. The message says:

"There was an error when attempting to connect to the Windows Live Calendar service. If the error persists, check to see if there's an upgrade of Windows Live Mail available or contact a service representative."

I do not use the calendar and would not have a problem turning the updating off but I do not see an option for that. I have checked for updates to Live Mail and do not see any. I can download all of my email just fine it is just the calendar update that fails. Is there some way to stop updates to the calendar service or does anyone know what the problem may be? I can logon to my account online.
