Receiving error code 0x80070057 upon opening of windows essentials photo gallery. Measures tried to solve the issue are listed below.
Turned off anti virus - Gallery failed to start before and after restart.
Installed all windows updates, important and optional. Gallery failed before and after restart
deleted OLD_Pictures.pd6 and renamed picture.pd6 to OLD_pictures.pd6 - did not solve issue
Any other ideas from the community are greatly appreciated.
Running windows 8.1 fresh install as of June 17
All other software and drivers are up to date.
Might be registry problem mate, Most of the errors are because of Registry thats why i sometimes hate Windows and thing Mac or Linux would be batter. But Frankly i am a Windows fanboy.
