ERR_TIMED_OUT Hotmail

For several weeks I have only been able to log on to Hotmail very occasionally via www.hotmail.com from my laptop running Vista.

When I log on using Chrome I get ERR_TIMED_OUT. I cannot log on using IE or Safari either.

However I can log in at work - Windows XP and IE7

I do not have problems accessing any other websites.

This is extremely frustrating and highly inconvenient.

I have had this account for many, many years with no problems.
