I have just begun using my WIN 8.1 IdeaPad and am facing the task of moving my emails and folder structure from an XP desktop.

1. should I install Win Live Mail on my IdeaPad? or is it already on my Laptop or do I have to download Win Essentials?

2 how do I configure WLM with my network service provider's settings?

3. What are the steps to save  my Outlook Express emails. Move the file to the new Win 8.1 machine and 'import' into WLM? 

Given the many types of emails I save its rather important that I go about it carefully!
