Emails continue to be systematically deleted from my inbox even after following all instructions sent by hotmail team

At the beginning of last month I sent the following........

Hi, my emails have suddenly started automatically moving themselves to the delete file and then deleting themselves completely. I only noticed yesterday but pretty much all my emails from the first two weeks of June have been deleted and then those from the third week of June were in my deleted folder.

Can anyone direct me on how to stop this from happening?

..........I received a message from the hotmail team telling me how to stop this from happening, this hasn't worked. I can't even retrieve the old private messages I was sent because hotmail has deleted these too. All my old email's are gone from 10th July 2013 backwards. I've had this account happily for many many years but looks like I need to drop it and move my account to gmail, is this the best sollution?
