i use windows 8.1 and chrome  and recently had to "refresh " by HP laptop and seem to have  lost the facility to send emails by clicking on the hyper link ( is that what it is called ?) on a webpage , previously  LIve Mail 2012 would come up with a new mail form and the email address written into the  To box  

any ideas what i need to change back to previous  ?
