<Moderator split from thread in Community Participation Center>

I don't have an answer, but I do have a similar problem. Yesterday I received a email advertisement for flipping houses, and it filled my mail box up to 999+  as fast as I was deleting them, the faster it kept adding the same email. No lie there had to be at least 2000 of these repeating emails and I just kept deleting. I'm not even sure what got it to stop. Maybe a shutdown, I was loosing track of what I was doing but I know I was not going to keep deleting them. I figured there must of been a but somewhere. It hasn't happened today and I hope it never happens again. This was thru a AOL account I have linked to the mail app. Anybody have this problem lately? O posted here because it sounded similar to what this thread is about. Any input would be appreciated.
