I was trying to change my Xbox account to another email account using the alias function. It wasn't working as it didn't let me use the .hotmail domain to change it.

Anyway during my time trying to change the alias without really understanding what I am doing I somehow managed to delete my email account, or it has been changed to a new account. The thing is I didn't want to do this and now all my emails that were going to the deleted account no longer arrive, websites I signed up with (like Twitter) no longer recognise the email, I am signed up to a few sites with the email but now it has gone.

Is there any way to recuperate the email address? I tried logging back in but it says the account doesn't exist, I try to create an account with the same email I had and it says it isn't available.

Please help :D
