I use my e-mails often, I know that inactivity of an account would mean data would be deleted, but in this case it would not apply; I accessed my e-mail only three days ago.

My account was hacked in this period of which I have not checked my e-mails, and when attempting to login my password was changed.  Upon answering the security question I was prompted to make my new password and got back into my account. My issue here is when I re-accessed the account, all my e-mails were deleted. I am not sure whether they were deleted by the hacker or if it is something on Microsoft's end because the only e-mail in the inbox now is that message you get when making a new e-mail and access your account for the first time., which was sent upon me accessing the account at that time.

I just want to know if it is possible to retrieve my old e-mail messages I had from before my hacking; I had some important information I needed to check in there which is now obviously wiped.

Thanks for any help in advance.
