Movie maker now creates mp4 files which do not work on my dvd player that is connected to the television!  The proportionally correct dvds created play only on my windows 7 computer.  In addition,  windows dvd maker randomly creates movies that are elongated, distorted vertically, that do play on my television.  I cannot figure out what is going on.  I have now thrown out 27 completed dvds as they are not working for me.  I want undistorted results that can be used in my stand alone dvd player that is connected to my television and dvds that can be seen on the television!!

What has Microsoft done? 

I have called several times, and there is no support available unless it is in another country.   The last time I did seek advice from Microsoft (in another country), I did get scammed and have had suspicious phone calls over the last two years!!!  Microsoft wanted $650.00!!!!!!!!!  I reported this.

Meanwhile, tell me how I can make successful dvds with windows 7.
