I tried to download Microsoft photo story 3 for window 8; but I received a notification saying not available for this version.

I found on the internet somebody had faced the same problem, but solved it by downloading it for window XP and  by using the compatability tab in property,

I tried to do the same but did not find in property any tabs called compatability to run.

Would you please tell me the exact steps to follow to download the photo story 3, which I find great and like so much.

If not, please advise me of any other apps similar to photo story 3 to download.
