I've owned my personal domain gilkirkpatrick.com for many years, and I consistently get this error when I try to associate it with my O365 account. I can properly add the appropriate MX and TXT records to DNS, and the O365 Admin Center seems to detect them. My understanding from previous support interactions (I've been trying to get this fixed for about a year) is that because I had used this domain for an early BPOS beta, the domain name is registered somewhere in the MSFT infrastructure as being in use, and causes this error.
What can I do to fix this problem?
