I am currently trying to set up parental controls and email accounts for my children. I am running Windows 7 (workgroup, but currently on a home group), I have installed Windows essentials three days ago. When I click on the user account I am redirected to log into Windows live Family Safety, where I am promptly told that "My password or email are incorrect, please try again". My log in details are fine, (I have changed the password twice, added an alias, spoken to Live ID twice). I have not been able to log on at all so when I log into my Microsoft account to access fss.live.com that way I am told I am not a parent of an existing family and around I go again.
I thought it was an issue specificaly related to Family Safety, but when I tried to set up my @outlook.com account to sync with Windows Live mail 2012, again the password is rejected even though I can log on and access my inbox via firefox.
Any suggestions on what I can do to fix these issues?
