I've been using computers for 25+ years but Windows 8 is something else!!!

My main use is emails - Can I  download Windows Live Mail?

I can't function with "Mail"

Also - Every time I move my mouse I have "stuff" zooming up at me. Can I stop that?

MANY more problems, but initial functioning is my main concern.

I am desperate for help.
