I have installed WLM2012 on a laptop running Win 8.1. When I delete a message it is immediately deleted (email account set up as IMAP). On my XP desktop using WLM2009, deleting a message marks the message in strikeout font in the Inbox, I can then remove the marked messages using the purge button. I cannot get WLM2012 to work in the same manner.
