It appears that in Outlook.com Calendar web application, it is impossible to delete future occurrences of a recurring event.

When attempting to delete a recurring event, one has the option to delete :

1. Either the one occurrence.

2. Or, all occurrences, meaning past and future occurrences too.

In real life, a recurring event can change over time and the calendar should be able to reflect that.

Moreover, once deleted or changed, the past history of recurring events is lost, which means that it is impossible to go back and know for sure if a certain event occurred at a specific date in the past.
